Ale-8-One soft drink has been bottled in Winchester since 1926 and is the only soft drink invented in Kentucky still in existence. Inventor G.L. Wainscott developed his ginger-blended recipe after travels through Europe. Still in limited distribution, Ale 8 is prized by Kentuckians in Kentucky and around the country. The diet formula was introduced in 2003, the first new product since 1926. 0 sugar, 0 calories and 0 carbs.
