A sweet treat from HoneyBear Farms, their locally sourced honey is available in five delectable flavors for mixing with your favorite hot beverage or dessert.
Wildflower Honey: Typically darker and richer tasting than most other honeys. This is a polyfloral, meaning many types of pollen and nectar were collected by the bees to make it. This is the “base” for all of the flavored honeys.
"Bee Venom": Not overwhelmingly spicy; more of a kick at the end. Made with HoneyBear Farms' amazing Bourbon Honey infused with peppers and spices (white vinegar, Carolina Reaper pepper, Trinidad Scorpion pepper, ghost pepper powder, habanero sauce, and cayenne powder.) Great on meat, vegetables, ice cream, pancakes, and more!
Lavender Honey: Originally a seasonal honey but due to its popularity, it is offered year-round. Our Wildflower Honey infused with Lavender essential oil adds a sweet floral taste to any beverage or even to top off your morning breakfast!
Elderberry Honey: Infused with locally-brewed elderberry. A member of the honeysuckle family, Elderberries have a delicious intense spicy-grape flavor. When ripe, Elderberries are known to be high in Vitamin A.
Cinnamon Vanilla: Infused with cinnamon and vanilla, for the perfect addition to your biscuits, coffee, or morning coffee!
- Natural, raw, & unfiltered
- Harvested primarily from hives in Kentucky
- Available in 2oz, 8oz, & 16oz Bottles
HoneyBear Farms:
From humble beginnings with just two beehives, HoneyBear Farms has now expanded to over 400 beehives within three years. Currently, they maintain over 1,500 beehives via a partnership with other Kentucky beekeepers with an annual production of 60,000 lbs. Beekeeping education is part of their core mission and they offer introduction to beekeeping classes all year.
Our shipping schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, using UPS Ground Service as our primary shipping method. We strive to ship orders the same day. Orders placed after 2 pm EST may ship the following day.
While we aim to ship all orders the same day, items like chocolates, pies, and cakes require extra care. During the hot summer months (June-September, sometimes October) we avoid shipping these perishable items on Fridays, and occasionally on Thursdays. This varies based on temperatures and distance.
This precaution ensures that these delicate items do not sit in hot UPS vans or warehouses over the weekend, when shipments are not actively moving. Any orders we hold for this reason will be shipped the following Monday, unless it's a holiday.
