Tim’s Chow Chow recipe harkens back to the relish from the vegetables of Grandma’s home garden. It is typically made with chopped bell peppers, green tomatoes, apples, and cabbage. You can use Chow Chow as you would any other kind of pickled relish. Use it as a topping for hot dogs, hamburgers, or barbeque. It’s also commonly used to give a little spunk to a bowl of beans or a side of cornbread. You can create dozens of uses for this versatile relish.
